Low water consumption; not suitable for replacement hose

trying to avoid buying a Water-Pik replacement just because the hose is torn. (Water Peak no longer seems to offer their own replacement hoses - planned obsolescence?) Other reviews seem correct: poor water flow, plus the handle doesn't hold the tip tight enough to rotate the tip. Instead I have to turn the whole crank (which guarantees even faster hose wear/failure. I suppose I'll have to stick to plan B: buy a brand new flosser block as there isn't an acceptable hose replacement part. Disappointing inside every way way.
