If it didn't smell so bad I would give it 5 stars. It's beautiful, the price is great and it looks expensive. BUT it smells really bad. Bought to wear with an outfit for a wedding in October and hope to keep it. It is ventilated in my garage and since the wedding is outdoors I hope the smell will dissipate over time. Update: It's been airing in my garage for a few days. I sprayed it with Lysol a few times a day and it smells better. It's still an unpleasant smell, but I hope it goes away. It's such a beautiful belt and it's (hopefully) worth the effort to get rid of the horrible smell. I just hope the Lysol doesn't mask the bad smell. This is another update. The smell is almost gone. I love the belt and am glad I kept it. I sprayed it with Lysol multiple times a day for a week and then just left it alone. I wasn't sure if it worked, but as soon as I left it alone to air out, the Lysol smell dissipated and only a faint odor remained. Now I think I can smell Lysol. I am planning to wear this to an outdoor wedding in October and I think it will be fine. October 13, 2021: It's been a month since I ordered this. It was for an outfit I was going to wear to a wedding last weekend. Unfortunately it still smells and I didn't get to use it at the wedding. I kept him because he is so cute. Maybe I can wear it next year. I'll put it somewhere away from my clothes for the winter. I don't regret keeping it because the price was so low, the quality was good and I hope one day the smell will go away. Maybe I'll even try it with soapy water.
