They're pretty decent overall, with a hollow plastic base and a plug to fill with water, sand or concrete if you want more weight. They don't really need it indoors, but they might need it in the wind. The hooks are pretty tight for attaching to a chain, and since they're all blown plastic, I'm a bit worried about durability if you have to unhook them at all. My biggest complaint is the length of the chain. It MIGHT be 40 inches, but that doesn't mean you can space your racks that far apart. You will do well to get three feet. It's not very helpful. They must be at least 6 feet long! Otherwise I would have given five stars. They're not that useful as they are.
