Warning: This adapter destroyed my Xbox 360. Our old adapter didn't include our Xbox. You will hear a brief light and some fan noise from the console, and then the power will turn off. We were able to confirm the adapter was defective by using a different adapter from our second Xbox. So I went online and looked up the model number of the factory adapter. This Ortz Gamez adapter struck me as a good combination of price, guarantee and high customer ratings. I even ordered late at night and received it the next day. Needless to say, my child was over the moon. He immediately pocketed it all and jumped into the long-awaited Call of Duty action. That's about 10 minutes. He ran out and said he heard the sound "POP", saw the smoke coming out of the adapter and then smelled a horrible smell of burning. I was able to confirm the adapter was smoking, but other than that the Xbox is now completely dead. No life from a fully functional original Xbox adapter from the factory. Of course I did what people should do and turned to Revain for advice. They processed the return and sent a return label within an hour. When I asked what to do about my Xbox becoming a doorstop I was told to contact Ortz Gamez, which I did. Full and complete reset. I think I got a copy/paste like "I'm sorry you're having troubles with our product," but it was about as much as an admission that it's entirely possible that their faulty adapter was the one Destroyed my child's favorite piece of technology. I even offered to send them an Xbox and an adapter to investigate so they wouldn't think I snagged a giveaway. Nothing. No sympathy and no appreciation. So I pointed out that while I'm writing this review, if I stop even 5 or 6 people from buying this product, it will probably more than cover the cost of a console repair. My guess is that this situation could be 1 in 100,000, but it has happened and it can happen to you. And if so, then you don't have a console and Ortz Gamez doesn't care.
