This power adapter works but not very well. It makes a little noise, but not as much as the previous one that came with the Xbox. One thing, it doesn't turn off completely. I turn off the Xbox, the lights go out, but I can still hear it running. That wasn't the case with the old PSU, so I think it has to do with that. It's cheap and I'm not keen, but you get what you pay for and at least the Xbox works.

My son did not receive it for about three weeks (I kept it until the certificate came.) He received it, was enthusiastic and used it until after less than 6 it stopped worked weeks. And now it is non-refundable. I'm sorry but I'm angry. Note that other reviewers say their devices died even after just a few weeks. The electronic device is expected to last longer than 6 weeks. The return policy should be longer if you believe in your product. Not happy at all.

After reading most of the reviews on this adapter I was confident to buy this one. They even shipped the item in one day as it's been a few weeks since mine stopped working. Terrible noise and waste of time and money. It just didn't work. We have two consoles. The cable we were sent was either defective or burnt out. This is not a console like our other consoles.
