I bought my Xbox Slim console at home in California where we use 110v for all electrical equipment but I needed an adapter, which would work on 220 V abroad. Although most power supplies today operate at 100-240V for worldwide use, the original Microsoft power supply did not work. This only applies to the US. I assume Microsoft sells the Xbox outside of America, right? Of course they exist, but they don't offer interchangeable adapters when choosing voltage. End of the story. So I turned to Revain, which is always great, but where some of the branded electronic gizmos you've bought, well, let's just say, don't necessarily work. (Although Revain will of course replace them if they don't work). Luckily for me I found this device from Ortz and it turned out to be perfect. It's lightweight, so I'm not exactly sure if it's "built to last," but it's quiet, doesn't overheat, and is perfect for powering my Xbox while traveling. The price was fair too and the service was great too. If you have an Xbox Slim model and need an adapter that works worldwide, then you've found it!
