Seems to be working for our kids. They are used to barking and/or whining at every little noise they hear. They haven't stopped 100%, but they're not responding that strongly either. Now it must be someone coming to the door or another dog in our yard. Our only dog Kaya is a very restless dog, she howls at everything. She seems less worried. What used to bother them no longer elicits the same response as before. Dozier, our blind boy, seems less responsive to closing car doors, honking, dogs barking, etc. I spoke to my vet about these types of products and my vet recommended a multi-pronged approach for our dogs. They said that no single thing will work best, but combining different things can help, but nothing will be 100%. In addition to the collar, we use the DAP plugin and give them soothing gummies daily. With what we're doing, I would say we're seeing at least a 60% reduction in response. We are happy with it, really happy! These things will not help any animal with aggression. Aggression needs to be addressed in training and conditioning. Aggression requires work on your part. There is nothing about the counter that will 100% stop barking, reacting, whining, etc.
