There is a 6 hour on and 18 hour off timer. It gives the rooms a creative appearance. I just installed it, so I don't know how long it will work (I hope for a long time). I highly recommend them. The only negative - I was going to order a few more but they are no longer available. It sucks. Update: The timer only worked on 1 of the 3 sets I bought. I don't care since the light is meant to be viewed from the inside, and I turn it off when I'm ready to go to bed. I'm also too lazy to exchange them 😏 I still love them 👍🏼 Candles are back in stock and I've ordered a few more. I will hang them on my bedroom windows and give Christmas gifts to my family. I am sure you will love them as much as I do.
