Revainrating 5 out of 5

JHC Difficult to install rear bracket. Rated at 1 pint of blood!

Schedule days for this job. I call it a six for purchasing hinges and extensions. Remove all fasteners. Remove the front top bracket and the front bracket can be pulled out past the radiator hose. Do not remove the rear upper bracket until attempting to deploy the rear bracket while the engine is jacked up. If you need to take it off, first the two screws on the bottom, then put it on the motor and you can grab the top two screws with one hand. (You will bleed) Also remove the rubber mount of the exhaust pipe on the cross member and preferably the inlet hose to the air filter. both help raise the engine. Requires 2 jacks, floor jack. Note. If the nuts won't come off the transmission mounts and the bolt just spins, you'll need to grind the bolts from the back! BUY NEW NUTS NOT INCLUDED! All screws are reusable.
