Good price but installation was a bit fiddly.

Overall I'm very happy with this purchase. It was installed in my daughter's '99 Nissan Altima. This is her first car and she didn't need anything special, but I wanted her hands free to stream her music. The sound quality is good for a cheap device. You get basic audio controls for bass and treble. There are also several preset "Equalizer" settings. There is also a Jensen app to control the radio from your phone and it works well. Bluetooth pairing was easy too and we did a test call and the sound was pretty good. Now they are the only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is the installation. I have installed many stereo systems over the years. When ordering, I didn't notice that the installation depth is so small. I was glad at first because there was plenty of room for the wiring harness. The problem we had was with the dashboard. Since the original uses a double noise, we had to buy a dash that fills in the extra space and adds a storage pocket. Pretty standard practice. The dash kit we received used factory mounting brackets to connect the storage bag to the radio. This required a deeper radio. We had to make a wooden bracket to mount the radio on and it's not perfect. It works and my daughter is happy so I agree but depending on the application there are a few things to consider. We also ordered Ai UPK750 1981-2013 Multi-Application Pocket, Black from Amazon in case it helps anyone else. Overall, as I said, a great little radio for the price and my daughter is happy. That's really all that matters.
