I bought these due to the reviews. Upon actually reading them it seems a lot of the positive reviews are for other things. These shoes are swap meet quality. I bought these for my son who doesn't regularly wear socks and loves to jump in puddles. His shoes will stink up fast and he grows out of them by 3-4 months. He's 6 now and we buy him usually in the range of 40-50 dollar name brand shoes. These shoes are cheaper quality than the 14-16 dollar pair of Walmart branded shoes. There is little to no traction on the bottom and just over all are poorly built. I had him put them on with socks to make sure they are even the right size and they are. But good lord save yourself the money and time and just get Walmart shoes. I am returning these. For this price we normally get kids NB, Nike, or Acics. These have the same feel and build quality of the shoes you get on wish for 10-12 dollars shipped.
