These Sargent Art 22-1500 Metal Gel Pens, Pack of 10. - the best I've ever tasted! Point too fast and ruins my work. Simply wiping the tip before and after using the pens will keep them clean. Nice color! These colors are not as vibrant as some of the other gel pens I have purchased. There is no doubt about what color you can expect from a pen. Lay the handles horizontally! For the first time, I was even enlightened on the best way to store pens. This makes a big difference in the performance of these pens compared to other pens. Drying time seems minimal compared to other gel pens. I have found that I can start working with fresh paint within 2-3 minutes of drying. Large areas take longer to dry, but they're ideal for small flowers, animals, and stained glass. BUT like other gel pens, writing on glossy surfaces takes LONG drying time! I say 24+ hours! Other gel pens still smudge on glossy surfaces after this time, but Sargent Art gel pens seem to do much better on such surfaces with a drying time of 24 hours. Gel pens Sargent Art 22-1500, 10 pcs. Metallic suitable for scrapbooking, coloring. , and everyday use for excitement. I would not recommend them to small children (under 8 years old). These are ballpoint pens, not thin ones.
