🖌️ Vibrant and Long-Lasting: Sargent Art 22-1500 Metallic Gel Pens - 10 Count Collection Review

After reading another review on this product I decided to buy these gel pens. You are fantastic! I love her. They make smooth, clean lines with lots of color. I also think they last longer than any other gel pens I've ever bought. The clear case they sent is a great storage container as it is very well made. I hope they make them in more colors sometime in the near future. I also buy a set of Sargent Art 10 glitter pens and love them equally. I highly recommend these pens.

They are very good for the reasonable price I paid for them at Revain. They aren't all that different from the regular set you'll find in most gel pen sets. What I love about them is that if you want to do something with just the metal handles you can just grab this little pack of 10 colors instead of pulling out a larger set and looking for metallic colors. Ink is great when it works. Each pen in this pack had a rollerball that got stuck on first use and stopped working. Because of this, as you can see from the picture, they are difficult to trust when writing letters or using them for a project. I'll probably end up throwing them away because they're extremely unreliable. Too bad because the ink itself is excellent, very light, great for writing on dark paper. I'm always on the hunt for the perfect gel pens and thought it was time to share them. It was hard to tell what colors would be included in the package, so here's what you got (see photo). They dry very quickly so the color areas don't blend well, you can see the marker lines. The gradient is good, but I lowered the rating because they aren't very metallic, they lack shine, and there's almost no color difference on black paper. These are my first artistic gel pens - I thought if I used gel pens I might as well get metallic colors! I used them for the first time last night on a nearly finished drawing made with markers and some pencils, oh my god they glow in the light! I was hoping they would make good marks and I think I was on the money. The silver and gold stripes on my lion's mane looked amazing. The best advice I've read about using a gel pen is to hold the pen lightly and let the ink flow without pressing on it.

Update: I've tried the pens on white marker paper and they show a lot more colour. Painting on black doesn't help me much, but at least I can see the colors. These Sargent Art 22-1500 Metal Gel Pens, Pack of 10. - the best I've ever tasted! Point too fast and ruins my work. Simply wiping the tip before and after using the pens will keep them clean. I liked these colors better than the fluorescent ones. They also came in a handy clear pouch which allows for easy storage, especially if like me you have a ton of painting tools!) Lovely color palette included. And they really live up to their "brilliant" Metal name. I am repelled by the fact that the body of the pen (plastic) is a different shade than the color of the ink.
