Review on 🖌️ Vibrant and Long-Lasting: Sargent Art 22-1500 Metallic Gel Pens - 10 Count Collection by Dawn Fischer

I liked these colors better than the fluorescent ones. They also came in a handy clear pouch which allows for easy storage, especially if like me you have a ton of painting tools!) Lovely color palette included. And they really live up to their "brilliant" Metal name. I am repelled by the fact that the body of the pen (plastic) is a different shade than the color of the ink. The ink is significantly darker than the almost "pastel" color of the pen body. I mainly use them for adult coloring and am happy with how the ink flows smoothly onto the paper. I didn't notice any streaks/leaks like I did with fluorescent packaging. They fit the page very well. They are good for small areas and details, I wouldn't use them for painting large areas as there may be streaks or white spots. I didn't notice any smudging with them so I was very pleased. I also tried this on a scrapbook recording. I was a bit disappointed there as it's harder to see the color and even more so the metallic aspect. The colors do not appear to vary much in hue when written on black paper. By the way, if you write on white or light-colored paper - they look really pretty! They're easy to write on as they dry quickly, so you don't have to worry about stains as you work. Since I mainly use them for adult coloring, I'm generally very happy with them. I don't usually paint or write on black paper so I think this brand will hold up well. I would buy them again and recommend them to friends and family.
