Cat Owners BUY! I have an elderly cat with kidney and urinary tract issues and as much as I love him we all know cat pee is gross! I tried every cleaner I could get my hands on and the mediocre one was the best I could find (triple the price of this one, no less!) for a few hours and went over it with carpet shampoo. as if nothing had happened! Not that perfumed urine smell that most products leave behind, just a clean carpet! When the carpet was dry I stuck my nose right into the problem area and didn't feel a thing! Make sure you wash out all of the cleaner or you'll still smell like it (not that it smells bad). If this remedy can work with cat pee, I think it will work for ANY pet or childish mess. I would recommend buying more than you think you need, if you pre-treat you should saturate the area well enough that the upholstery under the carpet also gets saturated. While at this price it's not a problem, I've already bought 2 more gallons to have on hand! It also does wonders for rent, whether you're a renter trying to get your security deposit back or trying to clean up after past renters.
