They were well packaged in a long white box. There are no installation instructions included. I suggest you go to YouTube and look for videos on such kits. It took me about 3 hours, more or less, to install them on my 2008 Kawasaki Vulcan 2000 Classic LT. Having a motorcycle lift is highly recommended. Installation wasn't difficult, it just took time. Comes with small zippers, I suggest you buy a pack of bigger ones. In addition, we strongly recommend that you also purchase 3M Adhesion Promoter Pads. They are very bright and look waterproof. The controller is about 4" long and about 3/4 x 3/4" on the other sides. The short white wire coming out of it is the bluetooth antenna. My bike is quite large and I didn't need extension cords to get to the battery. We recommend. FYI - these (and all other similar multi-colored lightbulb kits) are technically illegal even if you live in the state of Georgia because of their ability to produce blue light.
