Allows you to hide the cables of the wall mounted TV in the wall. It comes with Old Work style junction boxes with twist tabs to lock them in place. You need to cut two rectangular holes in the drywall or plaster and then find the boxes. One is behind the TV and the other is at the bottom of the wall outside the compound. Depending on the distance between the two boxes, you will also need a 14-gauge or 12-gauge two-wire Romax wire with a ground. The screws for the supplied socket were very tight and had to be tightened. Also, the cable connectors both point downwards. I would prefer the bottom one to face up towards the cable run. I ended up installing the bottom outlet upside down, which isn't a big deal. It also comes with a nice long HDMI cable (3 metres?) so ideally all you really need is some tools, maybe a fishing line and a piece of Romax. I also needed a longer Cat 5 network cable for my setup.
