Durability with a 60 " TV: TV Mounts, Stands & Turntables

We wanted a recessed mount for a sleek look and to save space. It was installed in a tree along with a 60 inch flat screen TV. frame wall. Installation: Make sure the studs are centered at 16" as they will fit snugly if the distance between studs is less. The supplied hardware works perfectly. You should have some experience with a drill, wall cutting and turning a wrench or ratchet. The wall box is mounted between the posts with the supplied screws after a hole has been cut in the wall. The mounting arm assembly is then installed into the in-wall box .The adapter plate is installed on the back of the TV and then hung on the bracket that is attached to the wall. The total time I spent installing it was about an hour. Quality: We had no problems with that at all. We were concerned about the TV's weight. our television that hand sags or jumps when pulling the television from any distance. It was not. We can pull the TV all the way out and it will hold tight. The connections are all fairly tight so it can be difficult to pull the TV out all the way and it takes a second to put it back in, but I'd rather that than move the TV while it's extended. A few screws ripped off during installation, but there were a few extra in our package. Features: There is a handle on the back to release the bracket when tilting the TV, which is nice. It also has a horizontal adjustment so the TV can be leveled. The handles have cable routing. I found this really convenient because I could run multiple cables and not have to worry about them getting pinched when removing and returning the TV. Make sure the cable has enough slack so the connection point is not stretched when the TV is fully extended. This uses standard VESA mounting schemes, so it should work with most TVs. The wall-mounted box features multiple cable management holes, making it easy to route cables through the wall. I used a low voltage panel (DataComm 45-0001-WH) at my equipment location (cable box, Wii, BluRay) to run all my cables through the wall. All in all, this is a very good product at a great price. Installation can be difficult for someone without experience, but it's worth it.
