Review on ๐Ÿ›ก๏ธ Ultimate Protection for Crankbrothers MTB Shoes: Introducing Crankbrothers MTB Shoe Shields by Paul Dobson

Great job fixing functional issues in the whisk concept while damaging expensive riding shoes!

Currently (installed a few days ago) they work much better than other seals used in the past. They appear to be designed in such a way that these cleats on the underside of the bronze cleat can engage the sole of the boot so that they can effectively resist the rotation of the cleat while "putting in or out is good." thicker, more wear-resistant than traditional pads used today Note: This is the only type of pedal I've ever used I didn't realize the "spring" pins on the inner 4 pins of the pedals had such hooking ability on all soles damaged my SIDI shoes. I thought Crank Brothers provided these metal guards years ago to avoid damaging the soles of their customers' expensive riding shoes. The rider's footprint can be reduced with the new "Paddle" "Candy" type pedals. However, shoe wear can eventually increase shoe clearance and "paddle" flat pedal surfaces, causing a hot spot. resurface without installing the "Crank Brothers Candy Tread Pins" which tend to break when installed on the end of the pedal shaft. Because the design of the "Egg Beater" compared to other modern pedals, where shoe wear does not negatively affect comfort and can therefore reduce the tendency to "hotspots" due to the wider contact surfaces of the shoe, pedals from other manufacturers do not. "Fast" suffered from "shoe wear". I wonder if Crank Brothers will end up dropping the "egg beater" pedal or redesigning it to reduce damage to their customers' shoes. I also wonder if this company is willing to compensate the customers who have ruined their shoes for years?
