Works with any two-bolt shoe (Crank Bros, SPD, TIME, etc.)

I bought these before I had clipless pedals. They were dormant until I got the shoes. I don't use them much, but I have a pair of chrome shoes with vintage TIME ATAC pedals. The system works great for me. To get into a fight, all I have to do is hook the first tip of the spike and then get in. I can feel the shield clinging to it. This is very low. I think if this was a problem you could perhaps sand the edge of the top of the shield to make the transition from shoe to shield smoother, but it's

It makes a world of difference

Not only do they prevent your shoes from banging against the soles, but they also make it easier for the racquet to snap into place and give a whole new "feel". You are actually pedaling. Gone is that vague feeling of "is it really locked?" and that awful feeling of your foot slipping when you thought you were full on the pedal. It also makes disabling much easier and more accurate. Almost no one should use pedals like whisks without them. Crank Brothers must include this with every pedalโ€ฆ

One of 5 things you can do to improve your driving!

I have to admit I only bought these because I saw a video review of the top 5 or 10 things you can do to improve your riding/cycling. The bike guard Crank Brothers took first place. I bought two packs thinking that one pack would contain the metal shield and gasket. I was pleasantly surprised to find that one package comes with two metal screens (as shown in the photos) and instructions. I decided to change boots at the same time. It looked like the grub screws weren't screwed in tight enoughโ€ฆ

  • Minor issues

Currently (installed a few days ago) they work much better than other seals used in the past. They appear to be designed in such a way that these cleats on the underside of the bronze cleat can engage the sole of the boot so that they can effectively resist the rotation of the cleat while "putting in or out is good." thicker, more wear-resistant than traditional pads used today Note: This is the only type of pedal I've ever used I didn't realize the "spring" pins on the inner 4 pins of theโ€ฆ
