We have always been fans of North Face products because of their high quality. I have a child who has very cold feet so I ordered these last winter...didn't work but I'm sorry my kids have a weird cycle. Send your little brother tobogganing at 20 degrees today. An hour later, the child (who is not easily injured) came back because "my feet are cold." Assuming it was the boots, as soon as I took my boots off I immediately popped a kitchen thermometer in - 51 degrees! Northface's high-quality children's boots should definitely keep their feet warmer than 51 degrees in one hour! The thermal cuffs around the seams were also wet so the boot isn't waterproof either. I will contact them directly to let you know.
