The boys have been wearing it for 3 months now and the sole is gone. There's a hole in the back so big I can't fix it. I need to buy you a new pair of boots. A month ago, after 2 months of use, they started complaining that their feet were cold and their socks were wet. Unfortunately I didn't pay enough attention, I thought they would jump in the snow and get wet from the toe of the boot. Guilty. Unfortunately I cannot recommend these boots.

Hit or miss the north face. My daughter's feet are cold! Not the quality of insulation I was hoping for considering we walk or hike in the snow all winter.

My son wears a 1 1/2 so I ordered a size 2. He said they were too tight. After he wore it for about an hour I asked him if they were still tight and he said a little. I said they hurt, he said no. I said you would like me to return them for a larger size, he said no. He's only 7 so hard to tell. He wore them almost every day when we had blizzards. He was excited when he received them.

My daughter has a tiny, slim fit, but the boot barely opens enough for the foot to slide as it should. They were so stiff that she couldn't even get her leg out when we finally put it in. Although the boots fit well.

This is my daughter's second pair. We liked them so much when we first ordered them again. The only downside is that you have to pinch your heel when you take them off, otherwise the inner shoe will also come loose.

The seller answered my questions immediately. I was skeptical that I wouldn't buy direct from Northface but the boots are ok. that again

Overall the boot was very good and once fitted well. However, the upper is tight and has no way to loosen the boot. It was too difficult for our 5 year old to make it on his own so we brought her back in a different style. Easy step-in seems to be an important feature of children's boots, and that's absent here.

I couldn't even loosen the boot enough to fit my son's foot all the way in! Nice boots but the top is too tight there is no space.

Being a north face I figured the quality would be good but my son's feet got wet and sliding down them was agony. I have to keep both thumbs on the earbuds for him to insert his foot. And yet it is so difficult. My husband can't even do it because he has fat fingers. Unfortunately I will not buy again.

My daughter wasn't feeling well. She didn't like the lining and that they were too tight so we removed it. She said they were more comfortable but not as warm.

So disappointed. My eldest son (10 years old) could live in the same boots for 2 years. I ordered it again for my 10 and 3 year olds. My baby has normal or slightly wider feet. We have always been fans of North Face products because of their high quality. I have a child who has very cold feet so I ordered these last winter...didn't work but I'm sorry my kids have a weird cycle. Send your little brother tobogganing at 20 degrees today. An hour later, the child (who is not easily injured) came back because "my feet are cold." These boots are well made but the opening is very narrow and almost impossible to put on. Not ideal for encouraging a child's independence. There is a pull code on the front, but that should be for beauty's sake as it has no function.

This shoe is perfect! I use them for work and am comfortable standing and walking 12 hour shifts. I can walk on water and my feet stay dry and warm in an ambient temperature of 36 degrees. I didn't slip either

So disappointed. Read reviews that they were narrow at the top but my son has narrow feet and I figured if I order a size up I'd be fine. Unfortunately it isn't. My 7 year old son couldn't put the boot on. Otherwise I really like the boots. I would like to try a larger size but the next two sizes are sold out.

A very nice boot. I ordered a size up for my grandson this year, he said they were too small. He said they slipped on their heels. If it was in stock I would have ordered a size up.

The boots fit well when putting them on but were very difficult to put on and an adult always had to help my son put them on. They kept his feet warm and one day he stopped complaining about wearing them.

Although they are nice and warm and have great support on the bottom, they are too small. My son is a size 12.5 and a size 13 is too small for him. Too tight. Too hard to get in. I will come back when I have found a suitable replacement.

This is a good boot but it was too small for me (I have a hard 2 in kids) and there is a place where the rubber ends which rubs the top of the foot. Very warm. I gave them to my daughter. I hope they fit her next winter.
