Review on Paslode Cordless Framing Battery-Operated Compressor by Dragan Nelson

A great power tool that changes lives!

I love this item! Wow, if like me you're concerned that this thing will have enough power to run a 16, worry not! This thing hammers nails pretty easily. In fact, you have to reduce the power a bit! The former contractor is here, so I understand. That's so pleasant. Passed about 5000 nails, mostly fir and some hardwoods (with a mix of 8's and 16's) and NO gluing, but lots of misfires. I'm not sure what it is but it will ignite every now and then but almost never sticks which is just super good for any nailer. I think it runs on fuel for its muscles and a battery for a spark and cooling fan. Claimed 1000 nails per fuel cell. I don't count nails, but after a long day of heavy use I did some basic math and they don't seem to come close (maybe 500-600), but I agree because this thing is pretty damn handy. ! I charge the battery every day or two as most of the energy comes from the fuel, but both are always needed. I saw somewhere that you can get 9000 nails on a single charge, which if true would require about 15 gas cans. The tool is good, of course, but consumables are expensive. Always seems like that, doesn't it? I didn't deduct a single star because I knew this would happen, and besides, I'm thinking about the gun, not the cost of the consumables. I just hope the competition lowers the price. I thought the fuel canister would be a problem, but it isn't. They just make sure you have a few and they seem to last a reasonable amount of time. It's not like you're constantly changing fuel cells or anything like that. Fuel is where nail power comes from, and rest assured, it has power. You can find them for around $10 or a little more. I own about 30 power tools, ranging from Milwaukee (most of them) to my Dewalt 12" miter saw, my Black & Decker grinders, and just about every power tool imaginable: drill, rotary hammer, impact wrench, rotary hammer, all saws, blowers, Trimmers and the list goes on And this Paslode cordless nailer is SIMPLY my favorite tool! I've never been close to that level. I don't know for sure because I haven't used a Dewalt, but I would put my junior on it. Also, I recently spent about 3 months not using it and FORGOTTEN to put the small battery on the charger and as befits this device it hammered in the first nail which I hammered in perfectly. and the second and third. it lasted the whole light workday! just sat 3 months with the fuel cell and the battery still in it and i picked it up and he earned it the same day, so to speak! how good is that? gg imagine one! I can't see you not having as much fun with this thing as I do
