This laptop stand is so light you'll be amazed at how durable it is. I'm tired of sitting on stacks of books at my laptop and constantly looking for a different size book to adjust the height. The hinges on this riser offer such a better solution. It accommodates any reasonable height change you may need (I have the front edge about 5 inches higher now), but it works better as a stack of books by also having an adjustable angle (I have the back 2 inches higher than the front). That's a good angle for me.) It's such a simple and inexpensive fix that I really kick myself for not getting it sooner.
