Incredible Value - Incredible Quality - Almost Perfect

First, my camera doesn't fit the Razer Doubleshot PBT keycaps. My playroom is completely black and has low light, so it's difficult to get clear pictures. Therefore, the photos attached to this report should be used more as a rough idea of what they look like in real life. It is finished. I couldn't resist buying the Razer PBT Doubleshot keycaps for my Razer Black Widow Elite. Although the OEM ABS keycaps were practically brand new (only bought a BW two weeks ago), the thought of completing the 'experience' with the Razer PBT keycaps was irresistible and I'm happy about it. The sense of quality that the Razer PBT keycaps gave to the Razer Black Widow Elite (which was already amazing) I would recommend to anyone considering a purchase. There are many positive aspects here. Razer has really taken a step in favor of the consumer by handling this. Not only do you get some of the highest quality double-shot PBT keycaps on the market, but you also get custom and standard bottom rows, as well as a US/EU layout, stabilizers, and a key puller. Given the quality on display here (in my opinion), Razer could easily charge $60 for this set. Now for the details. The Razer Doubleshot PBT keycaps strike an amazing balance between textured and smooth surfaces. I ordered classic black so the shine was perfect, absolutely no show through. The characters were incredibly poignant and I have to say that really impressed me. Seriously, these are some of the best characters in terms of clean lines I've seen on PBT, and the RGB clearance beats the standard ABS keycaps that come with the Razer Black Widow. These are very durable PBT keycaps, you can really feel the quality with every press and all the way. The audible difference between the standard Razer ABS and the Razer PBT was clearly noticeable and really enhanced the experience for mechanical enthusiasts. That's a wonderful thing. Installation was generally easy, but certainly took some time. What to expect. It took about an hour and a half to install, but everything is clear. Remove an ABS key and replace it with a PBT analog. I repeat. Literally everything was almost perfect, but with an oversight. A scam. Gap stabilizers leave room for a little wobble. Nothing to worry about, but I noticed it when I purposely wiggled in place to check. I wish Razer would add a more suitable gimbal specifically for the spacebar in the future. Aside from that little handle, all of the other gimbals that came with it worked well and provided consistent downward movement. So if you have any doubts about whether it's worth the investment, don't hesitate because it's worth every penny and the upgrade is excellent!
