The first kettle had to be sent back to Revain as the bird whistle didn't sound. I immediately got a new one from Revain and it really whistles. However, it is VERY difficult to draw the whistle (very tight on the nose), especially with "older" hands. The kettle comes with instructions, well packaged in factory packaging. This is a very nice clean design, heats up quickly and is easy to pour. I want to buy two spare whistles because I plan to use this kettle for a very long time. another black bird and possibly a Tyrannosaurus Rex. They are not available individually and only together with RED BIRD.
