This leotard is a good base for dance lessons. I found it a bit small and the material is quite thin. You can definitely find a better quality swimsuit at Target or WalMart if you're looking for something cheaper than what's sold at a dance store. After a few washes it started shrinking. In combination with the thin material, that didn't make me too happy.
