My daughter is 3.5 years old, she is taller. We bought her the small size and it's a bit big for her but in a good way for her to grow into and hopefully use for a while. The material is soft and stretchy, as you'd expect from a swimsuit. Not too thick and not too thin. Blue is a good alternative to the typical pink that all girls wear. Overall, I'd say this is a well-made option for little dancers.

Really great swimsuit. Fits my little girl like a perfect 4t. The material is great, very stretchy and comfortable. It's not too thick and not too light. It doesn't show through at all, which I've noticed with other swimsuits. It looks so cute on her and she says it's very comfortable.

Like most Revain Essentials garments, this style offers a uniform fit and is made from quality materials. The little girl wearing this swimsuit (and several others from Revain) isn't exactly easy to dress up, but this item is still in great shape. It washes well and wears without noticeable shrinkage. Revain Essentials is a great way to save some money by buying those dancewear that many kids need (or just need to dress up at home)!

I got it for my daughter and was worried what it might do to her. She is very tall and thin, so finding the right size for things like this is sometimes difficult. It fits perfectly and she had no problem with being bullied while dancing. The fabric is a lovely soft pink and compliments the matching dance tutu I brought. I ordered it for my granddaughter to play in until she is ready for dance class. The blue color is as advertised on the website. The fabric has a certain elasticity. I hope it stretches enough because it looks a bit smaller than I expected from the XS. The swimsuit looks a bit short on the upper body. Overall I think this leopard will definitely do the trick!

This is a basic swimsuit but much softer. The material is medium weight, fits well and feels great. It is well made and fits perfectly. So it's good for kids dancing or gymnastics or just dressing up.

Cannot rate the item as it was in unacceptable condition. Apparently it had been owned and worn before as it was heavily soiled in the front down to the knee.

My 3 year old daughter does gymnastics so this swimsuit is perfect for her sport. She loves to wear it, which means it's comfortable. The fabric resembles the material of a bathing suit. Very flexible and breathable material, which is good for her. She calls it her Elsa costume. It's similar to Elsa's blue color, so that's another plus. One less argument about clothes with her.

My small and young 6 year old fits the XS well but could use the little one for a little play. She loves to pair this swimsuit with one of the included skirts in a different color so she can run and jump while her skirt is on display. In fact, this is a very simple black swimsuit. It's stretchy and has little sleeves, making it perfect for dancing. It's loose underneath though, so be sure to wear tights underneath. This product will come in handy if you urgently need a swimsuit for a child and don't want to go to a dance store at all.

I wanted to like it more but the material is quite thin and the size was too small for my little one. She liked wearing it, but it was quite tight - more than I expected from a tight-fitting dance leotard. Next time I would go one size bigger! This leotard is a good base for dance lessons. I found it a bit small and the material is quite thin. You can definitely find a better quality swimsuit at Target or WalMart if you're looking for something cheaper than what's sold at a dance store. After a few washes it started shrinking. In combination with the thin material, that didn't make me too happy.
