It saved our lives.

My special needs daughter wandered around our house at night. We bought this tent and secured the closure with a turnbuckle and it gave us a good night's sleep. I can't recommend it highly enough. My other kids want one too. They think it's so cool. This is really a wonderful invention. It is very easy to assemble and use.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use

my 2 boys LOVE! husband wants!

My boys got a twin that I was able to make myself and my other son got a queen and I need to find someone strong enough because a heavy mattress needs to be placed in and on the tent . I barely got a twin so I need help with the queen. You can change the bed linen in the tent. I recommend deep pockets on a fitted sheet. Privacy and openness are enough to play games and watch anywhere. My boys love them.

Even better than we had hoped!

We bought this tent bed for my 9 year old who shares a bedroom with his 5 year old brother. He needs privacy and personal space, and that's PERFECT. It was very easy to set up, fits perfectly in the frame and the mattress inside keeps it from moving. It's very dark inside when everything is closed and light when the holes are open! As I said, my intention was just to give him some privacy and OWN space. We actually have both, plus: a stronghold, a quiet area, security for special items, and all

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Only available in black

Not for me: bed canopy and curtains

Only the second item I have ever ordered was completely different than what I thought it would be. At first it was very difficult to untie his little knots that kept him in line. Second, there were no instructions on how to set it up. Third, when he was finally freed from his lines, he was long and completely unsteady. It tipped over and there were no instructions on how to stabilize it with the folded poles that came with it. Fourth, the thing was DARK. I don't know what I was thinking when I…

Pros
  • High test results for support and durability
Cons
  • No insurance

Dangerous for any child, let alone children with special needs

Assembly was pretty easy. Assembled it looks pretty cool. Problems start when a child walks in. If you have one that absolutely stays on the mattress or the tent is used without a bed frame then this product is for you. If you have a child that leans against the side of the tent or crawls out of bed then this is a big problem. It's even kind of dangerous for a kid to come out alone. If the child leans against the edge of the tent or falls out sideways, the child is hung between and between the…

  • GOLS certified

Don't buy, cheaply made, not worth the price!

I'm so upset that this was my way of converting my toddler into a big boy's bed and its cheap quality. Completely worn out after 3 months of use. I had to patch the holes where the stitching separated at the edges. Now it has holes where the bars go in and there is a complete tear on one side that is a nightmare to fix so I removed it. If I spend more than $100, I expect it to last several years or even a year, not months. I do not recommend buying, look elsewhere. I'm selling a tree house tent

I (MOTHER) HAVE MY BED BACK! Oops!

My 5 year old son didn't like sleeping in his bed and as cute and cuddly as he is, this mommy needed some SLEEP. Come in, Dream Tents Bed Canopy Shelter Cabin. stay my beating heart Seriously, we assembled it in under 5 minutes, slipped in its double mattress and that was it. He loves it and feels safe in his room. Inside is a mesh pocket where he of course keeps a flashlight and a pair of Beyblades. The tent is very safe and I'm not worried about it falling, falling or sagging. I unbuttoned…

Pros
  • Finally bought it
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors

Just right for sensory kids!

I have a nine year old daughter with autism. When she's overexcited and needs comfort, dark spaces help her calm down, which is why we ordered this tent for her bed to give her a safe place to calm down. I was able to set up the tent myself, the instructions are very detailed. easy to read and follow. The rental does exactly what we ordered it to do. I love the zippered windows and doors that allow for easy access to the interior of the tent. We've only had the tent for about 6 months and it's…
