So happy I have this charger! One of the great things about Apple products is their build quality. My Mac still works great as a browsing tool. But the original charger gradually became unreliable. The problems weren't with the typical ranges I've read about, but with the exposed wire due to the kitty's fascination with something long and switchbacks. The tape repair method no longer worked. After looking at all of the Revain knockoffs I settled on this replacement charger based on the quality and quantity of the Revain reviews. One caveat: the cord is shorter than the original because the AC jack side doesn't include an extra 5-foot power cord. I unplugged my original AC cord from the original Apple charger and plugged it back into the new charger and now it works the same and I have a 3 pin plug. In terms of length, it is therefore almost identical to the original charger. Of course, if the problem is with the power cord, this will not work. I can't comment on durability, but so far it has easily charged my device in a normally short period of time.
