What you need to know: it works! I left my Mac charger somewhere and couldn't get it for another week, so I desperately needed a new one, and I needed it ASAP. Without the Apple logo, you wouldn't have guessed that it wasn't the original. It charges quickly and seems to be holding up well. On the plug itself I have a few small bumps (almost like "charger bumps?") which I found a bit odd, but they are tiny and don't affect performance, so I'm giving no stars. Absolutely worth it for the price.

I opened it up at first and thought it was a decent charger. But after several uses I noticed that it gets very hot. Then I noticed that it started sparking as it approached the charging port on the computer itself. I shouldn't be afraid to plug in my computer and wonder if it will make a spark. But it works, I have to pass it on to you. But the sparks are the biggest minus.

It was boxed and wrapped in bubble wrap and even had removable plastic screen protectors to prevent scratches. You wouldn't know it doesn't come directly from Apple with your MacBook. My husband and I fought over his charger every day (mine was gone - how can that be?) so I decided to buy another one. It was cheap and perfect. I had a full charge of 30% in an hour or two. Good decision.

After reading the reviews I was a little nervous about buying this charger. However, I needed it so I added it to my cart. My order arrived very quickly (I paid for shipping in one day and actually received it in one day which is rare) and it works great. I do notice it gets warm, but not as hot as some of these reviewers say. I also think this happens with most of my iPhone chargers, so I'm not worried. Can recommend this product unreservedly!

Purchased in August 2021, stopped working after a month. Luckily it was in the return window so we didn't have any issues with the return. I noticed that the device we received takes about an hour to charge when I plug it in with a 0% charge. If I charge at any other time, there are no such problems.
