Purchased in August 2021, stopped working after a month. Luckily it was in the return window so we didn't have any issues with the return. I noticed that the device we received takes about an hour to charge when I plug it in with a 0% charge. If I charge at any other time, there are no such problems. The one that needed replacing didn't, so it's probably just a coincidence. I'll see how long this one lasts. If it lasts, I see saving $40 from Apple as a good thing. Note, however, that my Apple charger that came with the computer lasted four years and had no trouble charging itself, instead the base came off (although I have kids who use Macs so it may last longer when used by adults). ). Time will tell as I only bought it a week ago. I get a $5 Amazon card for my review.
