Please note that the sticker adheres very well to furniture. I have bought them several times when remodeling my home and adding large bookshelves/closets. They work incredibly well. Our floors were uneven in a corner of the house where we wanted to put bookshelves. The bookshelves are made of solid wood and are very heavy. After several hours of fiddling with the adjustable legs on the bookshelves, we decided it would be foolish not to attach the straps no matter how we set them up. These straps instantly held the shelves securely in place. Doesn't swing at all. We checked by trying to pull the bookshelves forward (while one of us acted as a "spotter" in case they fall off) and they wouldn't budge. If we had kids in our family, I would wear them with everything. The only thing to watch out for, as mentioned, is that the sticker part is insanely secure. I'm pretty sure if I ever try to remove them it will remove the paint and wood/stain from the surface of my furniture. What I liked about them is that they work in places where you can't just get a drill to attach a piece of furniture with screws on one side. We managed to screw the strap to the wall because we could get in with the drill facing the wall above the bookshelves. But we would have to take the bookshelves out of the corner if we wanted to drill the other side of the strap above because there wasn't enough space between the top of the bookshelves and the ceiling to insert a drill. this direction. Using the sticky side on the bookshelves saved us from lugging heavy blocks out of a corner.
