I like the look of this lamp. The only thing I would blame it for is the built in rotary switch. I use this lamp next to my bed on my bedside table. The rotary switch looks cheap, and when you try to use the switch wheel to turn on the light at night, it's just not obvious which way to turn the wheel. It depends on how you connect the cable to the switch at night. One orientation requires you to rotate the wheel up, while the reverse orientation requires you to rotate the wheel down. If you choose the wrong direction, the wheel will start moving and then stop. An integrated toggle switch would be a much better choice. Or a rotary switch where the wheel can be used in all directions would be better.
