This peeler works very well. So far we've only used it to shell walnuts, which are probably some of the easiest nuts to shell. Although the hopper won't hold many nuts, it's easy enough to scoop up a full hopper, twist the handle a few times to start the cleaning process, separate the shells from the nuts, and start over. Nuts should be showing up in supermarkets by now, so we'll probably get other types of nuts to see how he fares. So far, so good.
