not very good thermal insulation
I bought this bag to hold a soft gel ice pack and a hard wall ice block. I carry them with me for arthritis pain. This was disappointing as the sides of the bag are very thin and did little to keep these items cold. It's also completely flat. If you put thick items in the package, they will take up most of the length and width of the package.
