When attaching the jig to my Bosch router I needed longer #8-36 screws which are a little hard to find. I stumbled across them and ordered. They fit the holes, but I basically ended up recutting the screws with the holes in the base plate and regularly screwing and unscrewing the screws. After that, tiny threads of material for the screws remain around the hole, as if they had been passed through the die. That's where her gentleness is a double-edged blessing. On the one hand, they are softer than zinc or something in the base; on the other hand, even a wrong look at the head enlarged it. (On the other hand, drilling through the head with a dremel to get the screws out was a trivial task.) Generally this will work if you're in a tight spot; However, if you come to Fastenal or a similar hardware store, you can get better, cheaper screws.
