This thing won't win any awards, but it will get the job done, and at a low price. As long as you remember to charge it with a resistor and then immediately connect it to a battery, it won't let you down. In theory, the capacitor should hold its charge after power is removed; However, this didn't happen when I first charged it with a resistor. This worried me that it would drain my battery as I left my truck and it was still connected directly to the battery. Not yet, I'm happy with this cheap alternative with flimsy wire terminals. I recommend it if you need a capacitor and want it to be cheap. (I was also happy to see that the graphics were wrapped on plastic around the capacitor so I could easily cut it off)
