rubber stamps are very beautiful stamps. I like to stamp the styrofoam with Staz-on ink before cutting it out. It's fun (sarcasm) to queue up to get cut. I outline my foam square which I cut out to take the picture and then make registration marks on the back of the rubber, foam and painted frame. This allows me to align the image fairly accurately with the stamp. I place the stamp face down in the frame and then dip the sticky side of the styrofoam down to mark the registration marks. Then I powder the sticky part and cut it out with a hot knife, being careful to keep it as vertical as possible. bit of a learning curve, the results look pretty professional and make my stamps easier to use and much easier to store around the room. I bought Duralar to secure them and will keep them in stamp pouches. Forgot to add: Stamping the image on the foam requires finesse. Too much pressure will blur the image.
