Looked nice but mine jumped out

These 4 pc adjustable button pins replacement for jeans looked good but mine popped out. They are intended to replace buttons on jeans or be used when sewing jeans. I've been using these pens for many years. The buttons in this set looked good and felt solid, but they have a different backing that is easier to apply, but unfortunately didn't stick well in my case. The first time I put on a pair of jeans that I attached one of these buttons to, it came off. Not a good design.
