I am 78 years old and have been using electric blankets for 60 years. This blanket is the worst electric blanket I have ever had. First I have to say that it heats up super. Unfortunately, this is where the "pros" end. The blanket is very thin, light and very silky. It might seem like a great ceiling, but it works against you. Because the blanket is light, thin, and silky (slippery), it won't stay in place to keep you warm. Because it's slippery, it slides easily onto the bottom of the bed instead. This problem is so severe and persistent that I have had to use safety pins to attach it to other bedding to keep it in place and keep me warm. I WILL RETURN THIS REALLY BAD BLANKET.
