This makes changing the water extremely easy!
I love this thing! The suction power is good considering you don't want to suck up fish. This makes changing the water very easy. We usually use it with a filter head first and filter the water directly into the tank just to purify the water and then attach the hose to change the water. We use it in reverse to take water out of our buckets to pour water back into the tank!
