The extra buttons are useless to me as they can't be remapped and I don't have a subscription to the apps they offer; I tend to accidentally press these buttons instead of what I need in the dark. In general, the device works as advertised. He controls my Roku when he has a direct location line. Much easier and quicker than trying to use my phone as a remote control over Wi-Fi. does what i need Good value for money; $7.41 including tax.
