This drive has sat in a clean inner zip bag for about 3 months. Visually, the drive looks brand new, but now you have to rotate it to read it. I can't imagine it would have lasted as long if clipped to keychain as intended. I used an old USB extension cable to safely extract some important files without damaging the USB ports of the 4 computers I was trying to read them on.
