Review on 🍲 Presto 02142 Precise 6-Quart Multi-use Programmable Plus Electric Pressure Cooker: Efficient Cooking Made Easy! by Nick Walsh

I received this product because my daughter kept telling me about the benefits of pressure cooking, so I decided to give it a try. I've really become a fan of pressure cooking instead of using my oven. First, using this product for the size of meals I cook saves me money on my energy bills. Second, I'm amazed at how much faster cooking cuts down on the cooking time. It usually takes me 45 minutes or more to cook a roast in the oven. I made this in the photo in about 15 minutes. I added green beans at the end of the cooking cycle. The roast turned out great; and it was much more tender than roast. While I obviously haven't done any scientific research, I've read that using a pressure cooker preserves more vitamins, flavor, and color. So I feel like I'm eating healthier. I will also say that the green beans appeared darker than when cooked; and the roast tasted like it had picked up more spices. I ended up buying a cookbook with recipes specifically for quick cooking. I look forward to using this product again, not only for first courses but also for baking some desserts.
