Do yourself a favor during installation - discard the plastic hoses and hot water connections. Everything is fine with cold water, but with hot water it leaves much to be desired. I'm a Purdue engineer, handyman, contractor, plumber etc. and in my opinion this is a much better way to make hot water. And easy. Go to your hardware store - I used Ace Hardware - and buy a 3/8" x 3/8" x 3/8" tee and a 3/8" x 3/8" dishwasher Hose Ace part numbers are 4309001 for T and 4061180 for 6ft hoses I believe this is the longest available in Ace You can get shorter hoses or you can also get a link to connect more than one hose together to connect if you need more.New hose to the side.I hand tighten the nut and then an additional 3/4 turn with a wrench.You'll probably need to drill a 3/4" hole in the cabinet to get the I used a spatula, then just thread the hose in, connect the other end of the new hose to the fitting on the bidet and you now have a very strong and well sealed hot water connection that is just as strong as cold water .Rest when you know your home e is not flooded in the morning! That being said, I give this device a solid 4 1/2 stars for overall design and functionality. Seems to be working well so far and wow I've never felt so clean!
