I ended up getting perioral dermatitis on my chin from wearing cotton masks. It sucks! I tried everything before finally having to see a dermatologist and take a 30-day dose of oral antibiotics twice a day. Pooh! The dermatologist said he sees a significant increase in people with perioral dermatitis with all masks and recommended I try a silk mask instead, as cotton is less breathable and the rough texture can irritate the skin. You have Mascne, PD or just have difficulty breathing in other masks, you WANT this mask! This is seriously dreamy. I rarely order things that don't have Prime because I'm afraid they won't ship and when they do it will take forever and when they arrive I can't return them. I decided to take a chance based on the positive reviews and the price and I'm so glad I did - just ordered more! It's silky soft, incredibly well made, and the nose bridge and adjustable ear loops complete the offering. Quit arguing and switch to silk. Bend down to dress up life and indulge yourself. Yes, it's hand wash only, but at this price, how much do you really want to buy? It's not difficult to wash every night, I just do it every night right after washing my face. UPDATE: 11/15/2020 Both of my silk masks hold up very well when washed in warm water daily with Woolite Delicate. by wet ironing. I just ordered another one because COLOURS! I ordered the champagne color and it is very beautiful. Not quite a nude with more brown undertones, but very pretty! I was arguing between rosé and champagne and decided that champagne would be more neutral.
