Okay so I only wear them on the 3rd day. No, not without washing. My first reaction, it could only be one thing. They're a little tight, but they're REAL compression stockings, aren't they? The fit is good, toes stay where the toes are supposed to hang, heel counter knows its place and stays in place as long as the top finish does its part and doesn't sag to snag with the heel counter. My biggest test comes after a few weeks of wearing and checking to see if the healing is still hanging. My problem child with socks always rubs a hole in the underside of the healing pad area. The compression ratio they have is spot on, it's there, but it's not "oh my god who can wear these things" tight. The merino wool construction allows them to be worn right in my work boots, and yet the quality looks good enough to be worn under good casual shoes as well. So far, so good.
