The pump came with the top detached from the rest of the body. You could tell it was either badly sealed/glued at the factory or hit so hard in transit that it shattered into pieces. I decided to use it multiple times for different things and just manually attached the device to see if it was worth spending time gluing. It did the job well, even though I found myself holding the device awkwardly: water polo, exercise ball, travel pillow. The engine gets hot, but that's because the thing is so small but packs so much power. I wouldn't leave it running for more than a few minutes without letting it rest and certainly not unattended.
