When I received this flash for my Polaroid camera I was a little surprised at how it was packaged. The flash came in a separate padded envelope with no box as advertised here. It was literally a flash drive with a label wrapped in duct tape stuck to the plastic case. When I tried to remove the tape I noticed that the flash drive itself was badly scratched as if it had been used. I looked at the gold end of the plug and sure enough it was used. * No box * Poorly protected * Has been used before (almost understandable as I'm pretty sure they put these things back into production like this) * Overpriced for what you get. Pros:* it worked. The flash did what it was supposed to, so overall you get a working flash. I know it seems like a small thing but at a price that was more than a film I was hoping for something more product. Actually I wanted to keep the packaging for nostalgia etc. Overall this was a disappointment but as the bar is now operational I guess it is. That. I almost broke the box trying to remove the tape. I ended up using an Xacto knife to remove it.
